Kyoto welcomed me with peaceful temples, quiet streets, and a slower pace of life than Tokyo. I spent my mornings exploring ancient shrines and afternoons wandering through the historic Gion district. Walking through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove was one of the highlights of my trip. I enjoyed traditional matcha tea at a small tea house and tasted authentic Japanese cuisine at local restaurants. Every corner of the city felt rich with history and culture. The public transport made getting around simple and convenient. Sunset at Fushimi Inari Shrine was an unforgettable experience. Kyoto is the perfect destination for anyone who wants to experience Japan's traditional side. I left the city already planning my next visit.

Spent a week exploring Kyoto's historic districts, famous shrines, bamboo forests, and local cafés. Here's everything I experienced and what I'd do differently.
