Tokyo in 5 Days - My Complete City Guide

Sachin Kandel·August 5, 2026

From Shibuya Crossing to quiet neighborhood cafés, this is how I explored Japan's busiest city while staying on a reasonable budget.

Tokyo amazed me with its incredible energy, modern architecture, and endless attractions. I explored famous districts like Shibuya, Shinjuku, Asakusa, and Akihabara, each offering something completely different. The food ranged from fresh sushi to delicious ramen served in tiny local shops. I visited beautiful parks that provided a peaceful escape from the busy city streets. The city's transportation system was fast, clean, and surprisingly easy to navigate. Every evening brought new experiences, from neon lights to lively shopping streets. Despite its size, Tokyo felt incredibly organized and safe. Five days were enough to see the highlights but not enough to experience everything. Tokyo is a city that always leaves you wanting more.
